Jhil Quinn’s Rhythm and Roots Band

Back again in July 2013!

After a very successful evening in April, Jhil Quinn’s Rhythm and Roots band is back again to the Promenade Café Parisian Theatre for a night of great food, fine wine and entertainment!

Two 1920s dancers at a speak easyJhil Quinn’s Rhythm & Roots band is refreshing and different. They play a variety of Jazz, Blues, Vaudeville and Ragtime from the 1920s & 1930s with their own twist on them. They are fun and upbeat, playing numerous instruments and with a unique sound that will bring a smile to your face and have you tapping your feet!

THE ROARING TWENTIES ARE ABOUT TO HOWL ONCE AGAIN
WITH A NEW SPEAKEASY NIGHT
AT THE PROMENADE CAFE!

The place to be seen during the Prohibition – unless, of course, there was an uncorrupted cop at the next table – the speakeasy quickly went from being an underground, illicit drinking hole to a thriving cultural phenomenon, with good-time jazz providing the usually heaving dance floor soundtrack. It was the time of gangsters and flappers coming together with a little help from dim lights and heroically-strong liquor. It was one nation under a groove, and that groove was usually The Charleston.

And that’s where Jhil Quinn’s Rhythm & Roots Band come in …
making sure that it’s Hot & truly Hops!

At 7pm. Supper followed by Performance.
Starter, complementary sorbet Main Course
Ticket for only €35.00!!
